Launching the new Melody series Marantz have three models to suit your needs and have also produced a new speaker pair to compliment the series, the Melody Speaker.

The first in the series is the Melody Music that allows you to listen to your favourite radio stations with FM and AM tuners. The built in CD player will also support MP3 playback and there is a USB socket for iPod and USB media drive media.

For those who want Network Radio the Melody Media adds network flexibility via dlna for over 2500 music stations worldwide and all media on your own network whilst the DAB tuner lets you listen to stations closer to home. A neat touch is the inclusion of a stand for your iPod so you don’t have to lie it down when listening through the unit.

The Melody Movie adds film playback to the mix via the built in Blu-ray player and the 2.1 receiver can upscale your DVD’s to 1080p whilst Dolby’s virtual surround will sort out the sound for you.
