August 16, 2010 — Article

NAD Electronics has revealed a new analogue radio tuner in the shape of the C426.

The company claims that its lack of DAB components marks it out as the audiophile’s choice, with a commitment to achieving the best possible sound from the FM and AM wavebands with its MOSFET RF front end design. It comes with a remote control and clear, bright VFL display.

It has room for 30 preset stations which you can name to save you remembering the frequencies, plus RDS and RT support for revealing station info.

The power supply is a new one from NAD which has been designed to aid efficiency and keep power consumption exceptionally low when switched to standby.

The NAD C426 is available now in a choice of graphite or titanium finishes for £230.
