Hannspree LED and 3D TVs at IFA

August 23, 2010 — Article

The first 3D TVs from Taiwanese manufacturer Hannspree are due to be unveiled at next month’s IFA 2010 consumer electronics show in Berlin, including a mammoth 55in model.

Also at the show will be a complete new series of LED TVs ranging from 19 to 42in. The SV Series is expected to follow Hannspree’s reputation for style, with ‘ultra slim’ chassis alongside the LED backlighting technology, as well as X-Contrast, which the company claims boosts contrast levels, and Vivid Motion 100Hz for blur and flicker-free moving images.

Hannspree also promises new additions to its ‘novelty product lines’, which have previously given us TVs shaped as footballs, cars and animals, with a new big screen ‘Apple-inspired TV’. More on that as it’s released.

IFA 2010 runs from the 3rd to the 8th of September.
