Just in time for the World Cup, quirky TV specialist HANNspree has sneaked out a football-shaped telly in the shape of the not-too-imaginatively titled HANNsoccer.

The 28in LCD TV boasts full 1080p HD resolution, Freeview tuner and two HDMI sockets as well as a wide 170-degree super wide viewing angle, which should make it ideal for mob-handed viewing. Its spherical(ish) body sits on its own table stand or can be wall-mounted and includes a brace of 2 x 10-watt speakers.

The HANNsoccer joins HANNspree’s other footie-related promotions, including heavy branding on five UK Premiership teams’ grounds at Manchester City, Bolton Wanderers, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Sunderland and Blackburn Rovers.
