Fatman New Wireless Fat Dock for iPhone and iPod (Sound & Vision: The Bristol Show 2010)

March 04, 2010

Highlights

Fatman launched several new products at the show, one exciting item is their Fat dock that allows external connection and support of both the iPod and the iPhone allowing you to play music and videos, charge your device and also sync your unit with iTunes from the dock.

The music from the Fat dock is sent via the built in wireless transmitter to any the three available Fatman amplifiers. There are also two analogue RCA connections, a composite video and a USB connection should you wish to connect your dock directly to the amplifier instead of via a wireless link.

There are several unique amplifier designs to match the Fat Dock, these being the new Fatman iTube 202 that operates as a Class A single ended design giving 20w per channel. There is also the Wi-Tube Fatman which is a hybrid design giving 28W per channel and the iTube 302 class A/B push pull device with 30W per channel.

All are available world wide from April 2010.
