Get the inside story behind the development of the B&W audio system in the new Jaguar XJ from Matt Jones, Chief Audio Engineer at Jaguar, who worked with B&W for 3 years to create the ultimate sound experience.

The objective was to design the system to completely integrate with the car’s acoustics and style which resulted in using 20 speakers in all with specific positioning to get optimal performance. It is powered by a 15 channel Class D amplifier boasting 1200 watts. This is the first time that Dolby Pro Logic IIx has been used in a vehicle.
