Pioneer have showcase a new 2.1 iPod dock speaker system in a single unit.

The XW-NAS5 comes with digital amplification and has a pair of front-facing stereo speakers and a downward-firing subwoofer.

The dock will accept both iPod (including the Touch) and iPhone and includes a Bluetooth adapter for wireless control.

The standard model, available in white, will cost £399 but there will also be a premium system available in four colours (red, white, black or silver) which incorporates an FM radio plus ‘soundscaping’ ambient sounds for £499.
