Andy Nortwood, Dr. Data at JVC “uncoded” the advantages of DynaPix used for their new screens which is powered by D.I.S.T. (Digital Image Scaling Technology) which first converts picture information to progressive signals regardless of the original source, from ordinary analogue to HD1080i signal. In the conversation he mentioned a new 40" LCD for early 2006… The JVC stand was also in the “convergence mode” with the new Everio G series including the GZ-MG70 camcorder. Laura, one of the young Ladies at the Salon (edit : see the special section Photo Report …) gave us a quick, real pro demonstration of the features with the 30 GB hard disk, which explains why it’s one of the HOT products at this year’s show.
