CEDIA (The Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association), is just around the corner and starts next week!

This year’s CEDIA Expo will take place at ExCeL London from 22nd to 25th June 2009 (training: 22nd to 25th June; exhibition: 23rd to 25th June).

A host of exhibitors will be at the show as well as training seminars going on. For more details see full list below.

CineNow will also be exhibiting at the show and will be filming all the latests products for consumers and CI members to view.

This years Show Floor Seminar Theatre will have a special guest by the name of Richard Farleigh who is to be the keynote speaker at this years show.

Famous for his appearances on the BBC show Dragons Den, Richard Farleigh, the Australian born investor, will present his business related seminar on the afternoon of Wednesday 25th June. Well known as one of the ‘nice’ Dragons, Richard is also the author of ‘Taming the Lion’ in which he shares his investing secrets and tips.

“We are very excited to have Richard Farleigh at CEDIA Expo” says Matt Nimmons, CEDIA Expo’s Show Manager. “He has such a wealth of knowledge and experience in the business world that he’ll be sharing with our delegates that I’m sure there will be standing room only! Richard will also be answering questions at the end of his session so a fantastic opportunity to learn from a true expert.”

After the successful launch of the Hot Topics Theatre at CEDIA Expo 2008, the Show Floor Seminar Theatre is returning with an even more impressive line up. Alongside Richard Farleigh will be Ian Potts, Executive Producer for BBC HD, Andy Macleod, Manager of Business Development UK, Cisco Systems and Richard Foggie, Assistant Director of Electronics Innovation at the BERR (UK Dept for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform). More names will be joining this prestigious list soon so watch this space!

The seminars that are taking place on the show floor will cover topical issues for the residential custom installation market. Experts from a number of important fields and industries will be offering their expert advice and experience to delegates in 40 minute sessions. The seminars will be free and seats will be on a strictly first come, first served basis.

The CEDIA UK Expo is a major must-visit industry event, mixing product launches with networking opportunities, the Show Floor Seminar Theatre and a high quality education programme comprising CEDIA’s own courses plus a comprehensive range of Trade Supplier Product Training sessions.
