Hauppauge Digital Inc has launched its latest portable TV tuner, the myTV 2GO.

myTV 2GO is a portable wireless Freeview TV tuner which transmits live television directly to your iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, PC and Mac wirelessly, with no need for cables or adaptors.

The company says this technology allows you to watch and record high-quality digital TV from anywhere with DVB-T (Freeview) reception and is specifically designed for mobile use.

It streams live TV to your iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, PC and Mac through its built-in 802.11b/g Wi-Fi connection, once you’ve also downloaded the free app.

Hauppauge’s myTV 2GO features up to 3.5 hours battery life and offers quick channel changes, crystal-clear images and the company asserts that users will have high reception quality even in remote locations.

myTV 2GO is available from £120 inc VAT, is subscription free, and does not use up your mobile data plan.
