UK-based home installation specialist Keene has announced yet another control option for custom installers and integrators.

Boston Acoustics TVee Model 25

Boston Acoustics has announced a replacement for its TVee Model 20 soundbar with the Model 25.

The new system will retail for the same price as the old one at £300, and includes a wireless subwoofer and Digitally Optimised Virtual Surround processing.

The onboard amplification has been boosted from 100 watts to 150 watts and it can decode Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtracks. It also has dedicated music or movie modes to suit the sound you want.

Boston Acoustics’ own low distortion, wide bandwidth HHRT (Hyperbolic High Rigidity Transducer) driver technology is used throughout, combined with light, rigid speaker cones, to help reduce distortion and widen the sweet spot, whatever the dimensions of the listening room.

The wireless subwoofer includes a 6in downward-firing driver, and it comes with a learning remote control and a variety of analogue and digital connections. There’s also a ‘placement EQ switch’ which is designed to optimise the performance whether the soundbar is placed in a cabinet or mounted on a wall.
