German hi-fi speaker manufacturer Quadral has announced its range of loudspeakers for the UK and Ireland.

The 40-year-old company specialises in high-end and reference class speakers but promises something for every budget across its Quadral and Aurum ranges.

There are stereo and surround sound options available with prices ranging from the Quintas 101 standmount for £89 to the Titan VII, which will knock you back £5,450 for a pair.

Brand new products for 2011 include the Vulkan VIII (£2,955), a three-way floorstander that includes Quadral’s own ‘Altima’ membrane drivers (170mm and 320mm) and comes in three natural wood finishes, as well as piano black or white gloss.

Also new is the SUB 63, which at £230 the company claims is its most affordable subwoofer, with a frequency response of 30-150Hz.

Paul Heath, MD for the UK distribution operation, said: “There are other speaker manufacturers on the market, but sadly and often for the consumer, they will find the ‘same old same old’ choices available from one store to the next. We not only offer something different to compare against and audition, but our Quadral and Aurum line-up sits perfectly in amongst many of these others, regardless of budget – from entry level hi-fi to our world famous Titan reference class.”

Quadral speakers are available now and will be on display at the Bristol Show in February.
