The Q2 internet radio from Armour Home has gone on sale in the UK.

Q2 Radio

Armour claims the 10cm cube is the easiest to use internet radio in the world, mainly because it has barely any controls.

The company says that despite the huge variety of choice offered by internet radio, many listeners tend to listen to just a few of their favourite stations. The Q2 allows you to set up four favourite listening destinations via your desktop or laptop computer.

Once the stations are set (and they can be changed as many times as you like) you switch between them by simply turning the Q2 on to another of its four sides. Just as simply, volume is adjusted by tilting the radio forward or backward.

The Q2 comes with a rechargeable battery offering up to 8 hours of playback from a single charge.

Armour Marketing Director, Kevin Taylor, said: “Simplicity, complete 100 per cent simplicity, underlines the design concept behind the Q2 Radio. We believe its unique and fun means of operation, as well as its innovative and vibrant style, has the potential to forever change the way people interact with radio.”

The Q2 costs £90 and is available now in a choice of five colours: White, Black, Lime, Pink and Blue.
