Rega has announced a special edition Rega P1 turntable in collaboration with renowned indie music store and record label Rough Trade.

The Rega RTP1 will be launched on 17 April to mark Record Store Day and is much the same as the standard P1 but includes Rough Trade logos on the lid and plinth. It comes with an RB100 tonearm and an Ortofon OM5e moving magnet cartridge, and will go on sale for £199.

In keeping with the theme of the day, the RTP1 be available exclusively through Rough Trade’s two London shops: Rough Trade East in Brick Lane, E1 and Rough Trade West in Talbot Road, W11, though it can also be pre-ordered online at www.roughtrade.com.

Rough Trade will also be releasing a range of special, very limited edition vinyl records to coincide with Record Store Day:
