SIM2 MICO 50 LED Projector

December 07, 2009 — Article

SIM2 has revealed its first LED projector, the MICO 50.

The new machine promises top-notch full HD 1080p visuals with ultra-low maintenance. It uses three Phlatlight LEDs, rather than DLP projectors’ UHP lamp and colour wheel to offer a faster refresh rate, making for smoother motion and hopefully the elimination of the dreaded rainbow effect.

Other benefits include an increased colour gamut, higher contrast and a longer life (for the projector, not for you, unfortunately) since the absence of a colour wheel means there are less moving parts.

Among its other attributes are instant on/off switching which means virtually no wait for the projector to warm up or cool down, plus two HDMI inputs, as well as component, S-Video and composite connections.

The SIM2 MICO 50 is on sale now for £14,995.
