First we see an LCD screen inserted in a plexiglass frame which is rear lit using LED technology. The new 63" 1080p Plasma TV with 3 HDMI inputs and Perfect Pixel HD engine technology was on display a little further along on our visit of the Philips CES 2007 stand. Then we had in demonstration of the new Blu-ray model, the BDP-9000. Philips has developed a new concept called Ambi-Sound home theater system. Here on show was the HTS8100, featuring five amplifiers and a DVD player integrated into a single horizontal sound bar with a sleek control panel.
