The RSP-1572, Rotel’s latest 7.1 surround-sound pre-amplifier, features new technologies such as HDMI 1.4 with 3D capability. It offers six HDMI inputs and two HDMI outputs, including one HDMI output having ARC (Audio Return Channel) capability. It has a USB front input for iPod/iPhone/iPad or other MP3 players. The latest generation Faroudja Torina FLI30336 Cortez Advanced Platform is designed to handle 3D video signals, from either Blu-ray players or set-top boxes. In addition, the RSP-1572 incorporates Bluetooth capability using the (provided) wireless Dongle.
Also on the Bowers & Wilkens stand was the new Rotel RSX-1562, a 7.1 channel surround-sound receiver boasting improved circuitry and technologies, including HDMI 1.4, as well as the front-panel USB input with a digital connection to enable the RSX-1562’s advanced DACs to do the critical decoding.
The RSX-1562 amplifiers are ICE Class D design with power output of 7×100 watts into 8 ohms. Multizone outputs provide composite video and analogue audio for up to three additional entertainment zones.
The RSX-1562 is designed to support 3D video signals as well as all traditional audio and video processing. Dual 32-bit DSP and 24-bit/192K audio ensure optimal sound quality and performance.
