The Rega RP1 turntable, winner of the What Hi Fi Award for best Turntable under £300 makes its first public viewing. Complete with a new arm being a one piece design designed to unify performance and an Ortofon cartridge giving excellent performance.

The platter is made from a specialist Phenolic resin that can support more weight on the edge assisting in stability, absorbing vibration and inertia variation.

Plugged into their established entry level pre-power amplifier the Brio 3 and playing through the re-designed RS3 speakers the sound was highly rewarding.

RS3 speakers have new feet that assist with stability, rigidity and damping, the grille has also change on the side firing drive unit so it fits flush to the side.
