Alan O’Rourke, Managing Director of Vita Audio, presents the new R1 tabletop Hi-Fi radio with prototype “Back-Pack” battery at the Sound & Vision Manchester Show 2009.
Vita Audio takes the technology and know-how gained from over 30 years working within the British Audio Industry and with Ruark Loudspeakers to make Hi-Fi quality available in small, deluxe audio systems.
The R1, the smallest of the range, uses excellent loudspeakers as well as a high quality amplifier and tuner all in a exquisitely finished cabinet.
The new version of the R1 offers a battery “Back-Pack” for up to 20 hours of listening pleasure wherever you want, from the garden to the pool, beach or the ski lodge, depending on the season.
The Sunday Telegraph described the original R1 as “the Aston Martin of DAB radios” and this distinctive model will have a leather carrying case, which makes the new R1 an even more deluxe version!
