UK based company Imerge have teamed up with Philips to deliver a new Interface for Pronto Controllers.

Based on Philips’ ProntoScript platform, the new module provides control for Imerge’s SoundServer S3000 – the world’s best-selling audio server – as well as the ever-popular MediaServer MS5000 and groundbreaking MediaServer MS1, both of which are highly specified audio/video server components. The module is fully compliant with Imerge’s XiVALink 3 control protocol, ensuring an unparalleled level of functionality.

Commenting on the new Pronto control module, Charlie Mertz, Business Development Manager for Imerge, said: “By integrating Imerge’s XiVALink 3 functionality with Philips’ ProntoScript environment, we have produced a slick, rich and highly intuitive graphical interface. This is the most advanced module yet devised for Pronto media server control, enriching the Imerge experience and delivering a deeply satisfying way for users to interface with their media.”

The Imerge Pronto module is available free of charge to Imerge users who purchase a compatible Philips Pronto controller. Interested parties should contact their local Imerge dealer/installer for details.
