Chord Indigo Plus Cable Now Available!

December 08, 2008 — Article

Well known cable manufacturer Chord have announced that they have upgraded their already excellent Indigo cable to the Indigo Plus.

Available now the Indigo Plus uses a unique acrylic plug surround. Gone is the black and orange surround used on the original Indigo and in its place a beautiful indigo coloured plug surround is fitted. Beauty however is more than skin deep. The new precision machined plug surround has been extensively redesigned internally to further improve on the resonance damping qualities of the original.

As well as the new plug surround, Indigo Plus has also been fitted with a secondary silver-plated, Teflon™ insulated signal return path. This was first used on the company’s original Anthem interconnects and is now featured on both the Indigo Plus and the Signature Plus. You will also notice that the Indigo Plus improves the sound stage, imaging and depth as well as bringing greater separation and definition to individual instruments.
