The first full production example of Panasonic’s new TH-55LFV50 videowall concept was on show at ISE this year.

Ideal for large public spaces, the video wall promises a high level of brightness (800cd/m2 brightness) and produces crisp, clear images which don’t distort even when viewed from long distances thanks to its wide viewing angle. The videowall’s been designed to reduce the width of screen-joining borders to only 5.3mm in wall videos. The borders are hardly visible even in very large-screen configurations, so images are more dynamic and natural.

Panasonic says the TH-55LFV50 is also highly energy efficient using LED LCD technology to reduce the overall power consumption. It’s due to go on sale in the UK and Europe later this year.
