At Top Audio Video Milano 2012 we had a very pleasant talk with Armin Krauss, the person in charge of sales and customer services on Avantgarde’s team, who answered all our questions and… guess what? Yes, we can have our Avantgarde speakers in any color we want and with different materials! They even offer the shiny Citrine Orange color which is the same as the famous orange used on Lamborghini sports cars.

What I find formidable is how their strategy about perfection is based on what the wise philosopher, Aristotle, said: “There are three shades of meaning to perfection. Perfection is when a thing is complete, when a thing is so good that nothing of the kind could be better, when a thing is perfect in itself, in its substance.”

Also at Milano’s Top Audio Video Show we were very delighted to see and listen to the powerful UNO with a 20 inch spherical midrange horn and a 5 inch horn both in a Light Topaz Blue. They use a meticulously designed CDC-technology, the midrange has no passive filter components in the signal path, like they say, less components, less interaction, less friction…
