Cyrus has launched the CD Transport, which it claims can deliver “the purest CD source” for DACs and DAC-enabled amplifiers.
The new model is a simplified version of Cyrus’ existing CD Xt SE2 transport but uses a single power transformer. It can, however, be upgraded to the full twin-transformer CD Xt SE2 design if required.
Connections include SPDIF coaxial and Toslink optical outputs, as well as MC-Bus for full system control within a Cyrus system.
Cyrus says the new CD Transport is ideal for partnering with the DAC-enabled Cyrus 6 XPD amplifier. It’s available now in black or titanium finishes for £750.
