Onkyo is to add Spotify to its 2011 AV receiver range.

The announcement follows the addition of the AUPEO! customised radio service to its 2011 series of net-connected receivers (TX-NR609 upwards). ONkyo receivers can now access five different online services: Spotify, Napster, last.FM, AUPEO! and VTuner.

Now owners of the TX-NR609, TX-NR709 or TX-NR809 can think of a song, artist or album title, punch it in onscreen, select and listen. Any tracks can be ‘starred’ and added to the ‘Starred’ playlist. Lists will also be replicated via Spotify Premium on linked iPhones or Android smart phones.
