Denon has released details of its AV receiver line-up for 2011, with three of the five new models featuring built-in support for Apple Airplay.

All five are due to hit the shelves this month and all support 3D pass-through, which is now standard across Denon’s range.

Bottom of the range is the AVR-1312 (£250) which has 5 x 110-watt channels, four HDMI inputs and one output and support for HD audio.

Next up is the AVR-1612 (£380) which adds a front USB port for connecting an iPod/iPhone, more power at 120 watts-per-channel and Dynamic Volume audio processing. It will also have Denon’s new Setup Wizard, alongside advanced Audyssey MultEQ calibration.

The three top models are the AVR-1912 (£500), AVR-2312 (£800) and AVR-3312 (TBC) all of which include Apple Airplay and 3D support, allowing them to stream music directly from an iPhone or iPod Touch and your iTunes library on a Mac or PC. Each comes with a USB slot for direct playback, too.

All three receivers also support DLNA for plug n play streaming of MP3, WMA, AAC, FLAC and FLAC-HD audio, plus photos, from a PC or NAS device.

They also offer access to over 12,000 internet radio stations as well as subscription music services such as Napster and Last.fm.

The AVR-1912 includes six HDMI (1.4 with 3D and ARC) inputs and one output, seven 125-watt channels, Audyssey MultEQ, Dynamic Volume and 2-zone capability.

The AVR-2312 meanwhile adds 7.2 channels, with 135 watts each, plus an extra HDMI input and Audyssey MultEQ Pro.

The top dog AVR-3312 boosts the power to 165 watts per channel, a second HDMI output and front height and front wide connections. Also on board is Audyssey DSX Processing, Dynamic Discrete Surround Circuit. AL24 Processing, Clock Jitter Reducer and 3 source/3 zone capability.

The AVR-1312 and AVR-1612 are due this month, with the AVR-1912 and AVR-2312 following in June. The AVR-3312 should be available later in the year.
