Roksan has announced details of new versions of its Caspian M2 Series, with an integrated amplifier and CD player due to go on sale in September.

Inspired by the look and technical advances of the company’s high-end Platinum Series, the Caspian M2 components have been redesigned both inside and out.

There’s a smart looking steel chassis for each, as well as a new remote control with LCD display. The M2 amp benefits from an independent power supply and is capable of delivering 85 watts per channel at 8 ohms (125 watts into four ohms). It also includes two ultra low noise transformers, five line inputs and gold-plated connectors.

The CD player meanwhile includes a one-piece optimised motherboard, de-coupled mechanism and dedicated transformer/power supplies for the analogue filters and the outputs, as well as an ‘individually-selected’ laser mechanism.

The Roksan Caspian M2 Series amp and CD player should be with us in September, priced £1,595 each.
