Altec Lansing has announced the most compact member of its inMotion line – the inMotion Compact (iMT320). The portable iPod dock folds as small as a book and is compatible with the latest iPhone and iPod flavours.

It features a pair of front firing ports for enhanced low frequency sound. There are dual 2in drivers hidden behind its grille and it receives a new look with a soft, leather-like cover that doubles as a speaker stand and folds up for portability. Volume controls in this new design incorporate push buttons for quick adjustment.
