Budget audio innovator TEAC has announced a new table-top DAB/FM radio with CD player and charging iPod dock.

It comes in a wooden case with a textured black faux leather finish and joins the semi-circular-shaped S250i CD player/iPod dock already available.

It measures a compact 12 x 35×23cm and has touch-sensitive controls on top and front, around its LCD clock display. The slot-loading CD player can handle CD, CD-R, CD-RW and MP3 formats and the built-in amplifier pumps out eight watts from each of the end-mounted speakers, with a bass speaker port mounted on the bottom.

There’s a 3.5mm jack plug to accommodate other, non-Apple music players and USB port for loading and playing back MP3 files.

The TEAC SR3-DAB is available now for £199.
