Danish high-end speaker manufacturer Dynaudio has announced a very limited run of its 30th anniversary Sapphire speakers in an unusual but rather fetching blue hue.

The floorstanding speakers have a limited run of just 1,000, and have been in production since last year. Each pair costs around £8,500 features a serial number etched into a metal plate at the rear.

The end is however now in sight with the company predicting that the last models will be shipped by next spring.

The last 30 speakers in the range will actually reflect the name by being turned out in a unique blue gloss finish, joining the previously available ivory, amber, bordeaux, mocca, gloss white and piano black.
