Hi-fi accessories specialist Russ Andrews has unveiled the AC-12 upgrade power supply for Cambridge Audio’s DacMagic DAC.

The device is designed to provide a straight swap for CA’s supplied (free) power supply but claims improved sound quality because of its precision rack-wound transformer (rather than the more common high-speed wound designs).

The company claims the design also brings to the sound “authority, weight and presence, with a significant increase in clarity and detail”.
